NIRI Fairfield/Westchester Presents:

Know Your Debt and Equity Holders

Guest Speakers:

Stevens McAleer

Thomson Financial/Carson

John Karageorge

Ilios Partners, LLC

IR practitioners are now working through the first bear market in more than a decade. The equity market is struggling, with credit downgrades making this a more challenging environment in which to raise capital. Creditors are more often “calling the tune” for public companies (note Xerox’s recent close call). And, on top of all this, the field of debt and equity holder identification and surveillance has changed dramatically in the past several years.

Clearly, “Best Practices IR” has to include knowledge of all your financial stakeholders, both debt and equity!

Join us for an informative evening and learn:

• Why and how to know your debt and equity holders

• What identification and surveillance can (and can’t) tell you

• How to best utilize the information you receive

• How to maximize the relationship with your surveillance firm
