English Grade 1 Teacher Administration Information



___1. Math Instruments: Georgetown ISD administers universal assessments to all K-5th grade students three times a year. Beginning, middle, and end of the school year.

___2. Assessment Schedule: Additional checkpoint, diagnostic, and benchmark assessments are administered at appropriate grade levels noted on the GISD Assessment Calendar. Scheduled testing dates are listed on the GISD Assessment Calendar and are to be followed by every campus to ensure consistent student data.

___3. Training:

• AIMSWeb Training documents are available on the internet at and each campus has a facilitator trained in administration procedures for AIMSweb.

___4. Materials: Each teacher involved in the assessment process should have access to the following:

• AIMSWeb testing materials (provided by the district)

• District Assessment Calendar (on GISD website)

• Math Assessment Administration Checklist (this document)

___5. Administration Procedures:

• Administer the AIMSweb MATH Assessment as specified in AIMSWeb Training Documents available on the internet.

• Enter the results of the AIMSWeb Test(s) on the AIMSWeb data collection system.

• Send the appropriate Parent Notification letter, which will be provided, to the parents of all students who are tested.

___6. Academic Profile Folder:

• All teachers will have an Academic Profile Folder (which will be provided) for each student. Your principal has these light orange folders.

• The Academic Profile Folder will follow students from grade level to grade level.

• The Academic Profile Folder, with all student assessment records and the Student Summary Sheet, must be placed in each student’s cumulative folder at the end of the school year.

___7. MATH Assessment Details: Each grade level administers the SAME tests at the beginning, middle, and end of the school year.
