MRI BRAIN P & MR VENOGRAPHY

Multiplanar, multiecho MR study of brain parenchyma was performed. In addition 2D TOF MR Venography of the brain has been performed

• Single tiny hyperintensity is seen in subcortical white matter of left parietal lobe which appear hyperintense on T2W/ FLAIR images and hypointense of T1W images.

• Cerebral parenchyma appears normal with no focal or diffuse area of altered intensity

• Cortical convexity sulci and sylvian fissures appear normal.

• The basal ganglia and thalami appear normal.

• The brainstem and cerebellum are unremarkable.

• Ventricular system is normal.

• Flow -voids of intracranial arteries appears normal

• Hypoplastic left transverse and left sigmoid sinus is noted.

• MRI venography shows normal appearance of the superior sagital sinus, right transverse and sigmoid sinuses. No evidence of filling defect noted within them.
