Professional Licenses & Licensure

Pitt Community College's State Authorization & Professional Licensing Statement

The State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement, or SARA, does not deal with professional licensing board approval for programs leading to state licensing. Programs at Pitt Community College that prepare students for professional licensure are designed to prepare a student to apply for applicable licensure in North Carolina. Therefore, PCC cannot confirm whether or not courses or programs offered meet licensure requirements in a student's state of residence outside of North Carolina. PCC recommends that students contact the degree program within the institution prior to enrolling into the course or degree program. Degree program contact information can be found on each individual program link on the `Online Offerings' website on Pitt Community College's website.
