Tami Conetta is the Chief Fiduciary Officer for the Southeast Region of Northern Trust, NA and is responsible for the delivery of fiduciary services to private clients in Florida and Georgia. Tami joined Northern Trust in 2009 as Senior Corporate Attorney and trust counsel. Prior to joining Northern Trust, Tami was in private law practice for over 18 years and a partner at Ruden McClosky. Tami is Board Certified in Wills, Trusts and Estates by the Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization and is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC). She serves on the Fiduciary Litigation Committee and the State Laws Committee of ACTEC. Tami is also an active member of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law (RPPTL) Section of The Florida Bar. Tami is a frequent lecturer for The Florida Bar and other professional associations. She is also the author of Chapter 10, Practice Under Florida Probate Code, sixth edition (2010).
Tami is a graduate of Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina and received her law degree from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law (with honors). Tami’s community involvement includes serving as chair of the Board of Directors of the Early Learning Coalition of Sarasota County and as a member of the Board of Directors of The Pines of Sarasota Foundation. She has also been involved with United Way and other community organizations.
