Nina Multak, PhD, MPAS, PA-C, DFAAPA is the Associate Dean and Randolph B. Mahoney Director of the University of Florida School of Physician Assistant Studies. She received her doctoral training from the Drexel University College of Computing and Informatics. Her clinical experience includes obstetrics and gynecology, ophthalmology andcardiovascular and thoracic surgery.Dr. Multak has spent more than 20 years focusing on PA education and hastaught previously at the UF School of PA Studies, where she became involved in health care simulation. Currently she is serving a term on the Board of Directors of the Society for Simulation in Healthcare and is the technology and education feature editor for the Journal of Physician Assistant Education. Dr. Multak aims to continue to propel the UF School of PA Studies forward through an increased focus on educational excellence, alumni networking, interprofessional collaboration and research, innovative training and community engagement. Dr. Multak has held previous faculty appointments where she also taught PA students including Drexel University, NOVA Southeastern University, and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is a graduate of the Hahnemann University Physician Assistant Program. Her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies was awarded from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine with an emphasis on educational innovation for physician assistant students. Nina Multak maintains professional affiliations with the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Florida Academy of Physician Assistants, Physician Assistant Education Association, Society for Simulation in Healthcare, American Medical Informatics Association and American Society for Information Science and Technology. ................
