? Syracuse is seeking to snap a two-game losing skid and pick up its first conference win of the season on Saturday, Oct. 26 at Florida State. ? The Orange are coming off consecu ve weekday losses to NC State (16-10) and Pi (27-20). The Seminoles have also lost their last two ? both away from home. MEDIA PARKING Parking for media in the WEST Lots (Standart West and Henry) across the street from the Dome is limited. Passes are issued on a priority basis within the same guidelines as working credentials. Additional parking for media is available at Manley Field House in the SOUTH MANLEY Lot. A media shuttle runs from there to the Dome beginning approximately three hours prior to kickoff. Return service is available for approximately two hours after the conclusion of the game.

POSTGAME INTERVIEWS The Syracuse locker room is closed to the media following games, both at home and on the road. For home games, Coach Dino Babers will hold his news conference in the Driver's Village VIP Lounge located on the Service Level of the Dome near Stadium Control. Following the conclusion of Coach Babers' news conference, select student-athletes will be brought to the Driver's Village VIP Lounge to meet with media representatives. For road games, Coach Babers and select student-athletes will be available in the designated visiting team interview area. Requests for specific student-athletes will be collected during the fourth quarter of each game.

ACC MEDIA PORTAL The ACC and XOS Digital have partnered to provide individual highlight packages from all ACC-controlled regular-season football games to approved TV news affiliates for the 2019 season. Upon the conclusion of each game, highlights will be available to download and use in televised news programming at no cost. Outlets may access the highlights, along with any weekly head coach press conferences, through the ACC Media Portal. This portal replaces the ACC Video Clip Service (AVCS). The use of game highlights provided through the ACC Media Portal are subject to the restrictions outlined in the ACC News Access Guidelines. ? Saturday's mee ng is the 13th all- me contest between Syracuse and Florida State. ? The Seminoles hold the series advantage with a 10-2 record in the 12 prior pairings, including a 5-0 mark at Doak Campbell Stadium. ? Syracuse's two wins bookend the series. The Orange won the ini al mee ng between the two programs in 1966, using a 37-21 win over the Seminoles at Archbold Stadium to go from unranked to No. 17 in the following week's UPI poll. ? Florida State enters Saturday's game coming off back-to-back road losses at Clemson and Wake Forest. All three of the Seminoles' wins in 2019 have come at home. ? Florida State is led by Coach Willie Taggart, who is in his second season as head coach of the Seminoles. Taggart is 8-11 at the FSU helm and 55-61 in his career as a head coach, which includes stops at Western Kentucky, USF and Oregon. ? RB Cam Akers is one of the top players in the ACC. The junior ranks 11th na onally in rushing yards per game (110.4). He is third in the ACC in rushing yards (773) and leads the conference in total touchdowns (11). ? Alex Hornibrook and James Blackman have split me at quarterback, with Blackman playing exclusively last week at Wake Forest. OH CAPTAIN, MY CAPTAIN ? Senior RB Moe Neal (co-offense), redshirt junior OL Airon Servais (co-offense), senior DE Kendall Coleman (defense) and redshirt senior P Sterling Hofrichter (special teams) were elected 2019 season captains in a team vote before the Oct. 18 game versus Pi sburgh. Prior to the vote, captains rotated on a game-by-game basis. ? Hofrichter was voted captain for the third me. He is one of three men to captain the Orange for three seasons and the second three-year SU captain of the modern era. Hofrichter joins Zaire Franklin (2015-17) and Robert Adams (1894-96) in that elite club. ? Hofrichter is one of five ac ve FBS players, and the only specialist, to serve as captain of their squad three years in a row.

HOME NON-CONFERENCE SUCCESS ? The Orange finished 2-0 at home versus nonconference opponents in 2019. Syracuse defeated Western Michigan 52-33 on Sept. 21 and Holy Cross 41-3 on Sept. 28. ? The victories boosted Syracuse's record to 7-2 in their nine home non-league games under Dino Babers, including five straight victories. ? Under Babers, Syracuse has outscored its nonconference opponents at the Dome, 373-170. ? The Orange have not lost a non-ACC game at home since Sept. 9, 2017 when they were beaten 30-23 by Middle Tennessee.

PACKED HOUSE ? A raucous crowd of 50,428 fans were on hand for Syracuse's home opener versus top-ranked Clemson on Sept. 14. It was the ninth Dome sellout for football and the eighth gathering of 50,000+ in the stadium's history, which dates back to 1980. ? The game marked the first me Syracuse sold out a conference game as either a member of the BIG EAST or ACC.

THE NEED FOR SPEED ? Since head coach Dino Babers arrived in 2016, Syracuse has run 3,585 plays in 44 games ? an average of 81.5 plays per game. ? The Orange have ranked in the top five in the FBS in total plays each of the past two seasons, including logging a school-record 1,063 plays in 2018. ? Syracuse's average of 81.8 plays per contest last season was second na onally to ACC rival Wake Forest (82.1). ? This season, the Orange are averaging 75.4 plays per contest and rank 21st with 528 plays.

STRIKE HARD, STRIKE FAST ? In their last two wins against Western Michigan and Holy Cross, the Orange scored points on 15 possessions and 11 of those drives lasted two minutes or less. ? On nine of those series, it took five plays or fewer for the Orange to cash in. ? The quickest were a pair of one-play drives versus Holy Cross on Sept. 28. QB Tommy DeVito hit WR Trishton Jackson for a 17-yard touchdown on the first play a er a turnover. Later in the game, he linked up with TE Luke Benson for a 70-yard TD on first down. SOPHOMORE SLINGER ? Redshirt sophomore QB Tommy DeVito completed 71.8 percent of his passes (28-39) for 330 yards on Sept. 14 at Maryland. It was the first 300-yard passing game of DeVito's young career and the 11th by a sophomore in team history. DeVito also had an even 300 yards passing at NC State on Oct. 10.
