More people died of the flu in 1918 than died from the Black Plague from 1347-1351. An estimated 675, 000 Americans died from the flu which was 10 times greater than soldiers that were killed in action during WWI. Of the US soldiers that fought in Europe ½ of the soldiers died from the flu. ................
