Currently seeking applicants for the following position: Food and Beverage Unit Supervisor

Position Type: Seasonal Hourly

Job Summary: Responsible for the day to day operation of assigned locations. This includes the staff, revenue generated, quality, inventory, continued training, and Guest Service.

Job Duties: Demonstrate and continually train the Six Flags Mantra of providing Friendly, Clean, Fast, and Safe Service to each Guest. Performing all responsibilities as a host or hostess. Conduct routine inspections of assigned locations for quality, cleanliness, and safety concerns. Address Guest Concerns as they arise in the assigned location. Ensure that Guests are being provided with food & beverage items of the highest quality. Implement Guest service programs, and continually follow up with team on Guest service related measurements. Ensure all Training Material is practiced in the workplace including Park, Departmental, and Cash Handling. Enforce proper food preparation and handling procedures, in compliance with Food Service and Health Department policies. Monitor all costs, including but not limited to labor, waste, and inventory. Continually monitor the cleanliness of all locations within the assigned area. Ensure that Safety and Security Awareness are reinforced and practiced consistently. Ensure that a proper level of inventory is maintained at each location in assigned area. Ensure that all team members are following correct cash handling procedures. Make recommendations regarding Team Member hiring, promotions, and corrective action. Identify areas for continued improvement; develop and implement strategies to enhance these areas. Sets an appropriate image and role model that represents the image and management style reflective of Six Flags Discovery Kingdom's values and culture. Must follow Six Flags policies and procedures at all times including Department of Labor Break and Meal Laws.

Minimum Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older. One year Food Service or Hospitality Management Experience is preferred. Must pass a pre-employment math test. Must be willing to work 40 hours per week, including weekends, evenings and holidays. Experience in culinary and hospitality industry preferred, not required. Light lifting up to 50lbs. required. Must be willing to work in all weather conditions for extended periods. Must be able to stand, kneel, and squat for extended periods. Must successfully obtain a state required Food Handler's card. Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English. Must be able to communicate in a professional and efficient manner both in written and verbal formats. Must be professional, energetic, self-motivated, and have the ability to motivate others, and have a positive attitude. Must lead by example regarding grooming, safety, cleanliness, and appropriate conduct at all times. Must be able to sit, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift, push, or pull 50lbs with or without assistance.
