As the Food Service Supervisor my responsibilities included daily shift operations, employee scheduling, Kronos Payroll and Scheduler, menu planning and implementing, employee disputes and counseling and GeriMenu meal planning system and implementing select menus.

During my time as Supervisor we launched a department driven project to move from a tray line to restaurant style service.

We served meals from 4 different dining rooms. The program piloted with a trial in one dining room and later moved on to the entire building. My responsibility included developing employee work flows and overall monitoring the

program to change and repair issues to make the program optimal. This system was the first of its kind in the area and was later mirrored by other facilities to do

the same. We also planned decorated, staffed and prepared food and drink for two upscale cocktail

parties every year beginning in 2004..
