SEAT BELTS

Ford recommends that all seat belt assemblies in use during a collision be replaced unless the collision was minor & a qualified technician finds that the belts show no damage & continue to operate properly. Seat belt assemblies not in use should also be inspected & replaced if damage or improper operation is noted.

CAB & CHASSIS

Cab & Chassis vehicles are supplied incomplete to aftermarket specialty manufacturers, which may have special options not available on regular production (complete) vehicles. Extra care should be exercised when estimating these vehicles. It may be necessary to consult the OEM dealer or particular specialty manufacturer for specific information. Manufacturer advises that some new fasteners must be used whenever old fasteners are loosened or removed.

WELDING

Manufacturer Advises that Laser Welding is Used on Some Welded Panels in the Manufacturing Process of this Vehicle. Please see Manufacturer's Body Service Manual for Specific Repair Instructions.

ADHESIVE BONDING

Exterior body panels at door and roof rail locations are mated with a two part epoxy adhesive to increase vehicle rigidity. A similar adhesive must be used in conjunction with spot welding procedures to maintain vehicle integrity.

CLEAR COAT

IDENTIFICATION

All colors are clear coat. Candy Red (Code U6, Code RZ), Ruby Red (Code RR), White Chocolate Metallic (Code PV) & White Platinum Pearl (Code UG) are three stage.
