Commercial Stripped Chassis

The 2016 E-Series Super Duty Commercial Stripped Chassis offers a selection of wheelbases and Gross Vehicle Weight Ratings (GVWR) to satisfy a broad range of commercial applications. n E-350 Super Duty offers a choice of 138", 158" or 176" wheelbases,

DRW only, and GVWRs of 11,500 or 12,500 lbs. n E-450 Super Duty offers either 158" or 176" wheelbase, DRW only,

and two GVWRs: 14,000 or 14,500 lbs.

n E-350 and E-450 Stripped Chassis equipped with the optional 6.8L V10 are teamed with the reliable, tough, and durable TorqShift? HD 6-speed automatic transmission that features two overdrive ratios, Tow/Haul Mode, SelectShift? capability, and standard auxiliary external oil cooler.

Engine Choices

All Ford gasoline engines feature a 97,500 mile scheduled tune-up interval* and fail-safe cooling system protection.

5.4L Triton? V8 Gas Single Overhead Cam Engine The Ford Triton? family of engines delivers a combination of outstanding power, durability and efficiency. Modular engine design allows the engines to share a variety of common components. The standard engine in both the E-350 and E-450 Super Duty is the 5.4L Triton? V8 Single Overhead Cam Engine, which delivers 255 horsepower with 350 lb.-ft. of torque and is E-85 Flex-Fuel capable.

6.8L Triton? V10 Gas Single Overhead Cam Engine The 6.8L Triton? V10 Single Overhead Cam Engine is available in both the E-350 and E-450 models and delivers 305 horsep ower and 420 lb.-ft. of torque.

CNG/PROPANE (LPG) Both the 5.4L V8 and 6.8L V10 Triton? engines are available with a CNG/PROPANE (LPG) Gaseous Engine Prep Package (91G) to allow operation on CNG or Propane with an aftermarket upfit.

5-Speed Overdrive Transmission

E-350 and E-450 with the 5.4L V8 are equipped with the 5-speed TorqShift? automatic overdrive transmission with Tow/Haul mode and standard auxiliary external cooler.
