JAMES BROWN
U.S. Army Special Operations Parachute Demonstration Team The Black Daggers
Sgt. 1st Class James Brown, joined the Black Daggers in January 2019. A native of West Covina, CA, Jim Brown attended Mountain Ridge and Corona Del Sol High Schools in Arizona.
He joined the military in 2004 as a MotorTransport Operator.
His first assignment was with the 82nd Airborne Division, at Fort Bragg, NC, where he served for 4 years
Jim's previous military assignments include: The 1st Special Warfare Training Group, 10th Special Forces Group, and the DCS Surgeon USASOC.
His military education includes: Basic Airborne Course, Ranger School, Special Forces Assesment and Selection, Special Forces Qualification Course, Survival Evasion Resistance and Escape (SERE), Special Operations Language Training Course- Arabic, Special Operations Combat Medic Course, Special Forces Medical Sergeants Course, Static Line Jumpmaster Course, Basic Leaders Course, Advanced Leaders Course, Military Freefall Course, Special Forces Advanced Urban Combat Course, Modern Army Combatives Course, Special Operations Combatives Course, the Advanced Special Operations Technician Course, Special Forces Dive Medical Technician Course, Advanced Trauma Life Support Course, Advanced Cardiac Life Support Course, Emergency Room Medical Technicians Basic Course, Enterprise Management Course, Advanced Combat Marksmanship Instructor Course, and Special Operations Combat Medical Skills Sustainment Course.
Presently, SFC Jim Brown is assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, U.S. Army Special Operations Command, Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and is a full-time member of the USASOC Parachute Demonstration Team.
