In addition, from 1990 to 2003 I had primary or shared responsibility, as a National Park Service Contracting Officer’s Technical Representative, for managing between 1.5 to 2.5 million dollars per year in technical contracts for archaeological/resource management services NPS conducted for other federal agencies. This entailed obtaining funding, preparing scopes of work, reviewing proposals and awarding contracts, and monitoring the fieldwork, analysis, and reports. I would conservatively estimate that I directly managed ca. $10,000,000.00 in contracts over this period, and assisted in the management of another ca. $10,000,000.00 in contracts with other NPS personnel over the same period.
