And, we have more CMS-ranked 5-stars hospitals than any other system in North Texas. Texas Health is home to Level I and Level II Trauma facilities, Comprehensive Stroke Care facilities and we are the only facility offering the highest NICU trauma services in the fast-growing Collin County.

COMMUNITY HEALTH

Texas Health is committed to caring beyond our walls to address the societal and environmental factors that impact our community's health and well-being. In 2021, we provided over $900 million of charity care and community benefit, more than any other health system in the area. Since 2019, we have awarded $10.2 million in community impact grants to address social determinants of health that often result in conditions such as chronic disease and premature death. This work has been recognized and awarded, including receiving the American Hospital Association's prestigious 2022 Foster G. McGaw Prize for Excellence in Community Service.

FOUNDATION

The Texas Health Resources Foundation strives to enhance quality patient care by joining with committed community donors to sustain the long-term fiscal viability of Texas Health Resources. The Foundation raises funds that support capital, clinical, community health, educational and research programs across the Texas Health system. Gifts come through endowments, individual giving (including employees), corporations, foundations, community organizations, federal grants and estate plans.
