Get to know Pace University

International students benefit from Pace's exceptional academic and professional preparation in New York, one of the most iconic cities in the world.

2 amazing campus experiences

You will get the best of both worlds at Pace. Its downtown Manhattan campus in New York's Financial District is surrounded by the biggest concentration of Fortune 500 companies in the world. The beautiful Westchester Campus gives you a more traditional American-style college environment. Located in a prosperous area with a thriving economy, it is just 50km north of New York City.

Brand new facilities

Pace has recently transformed both campuses, with new spaces that have been designed for you to live, learn and collaborate with your classmates. You'll also benefit from state-of-the-art laboratories, a financial trading room, and media production studios.

A tradition of support

The University offers merit-based scholarships to outstanding students. This generosity dates back to its founders. Following the stock market crash of 1929, Homer Pace, the school's 1st president, forfeited his own salary and extended $100,000 of tuition credit (over $1 million in current value) to help students pay for their education.

Career connections

Pace University faculty bring real-world expertise, having worked for a wide range of organizations. They use their in-depth industry knowledge to turn theories into practical examples. Their connections provide you with valuable access to professional opportunities and networks. Learn how Pace prepares you for your career on pages 8?11.

Pace University offers you so many opportunities. I joined several student clubs, I studied abroad in Italy, and I interned for 2 nonprofit organizations and a stock brokerage firm during my degree. I could narrow my professional focus while also getting experience in several different fields. Pace gave me this and much more. It's been an amazing experience!

Stand out from the crowd

Attend workshops that Career Services has developed just for international students. You will learn how to write a r?sum? that not only shows off your impressive skills, but also has the right keywords to help it get past applicant tracking systems. With expertise in your disciplinary area, your career counselor will work one-on-one with you to develop a personal brand across your r?sum?, professional introduction and LinkedIn profile.

87%

of international students who visited Pace Career Services in

2017?18 did an internship

08

I thought I should list as many things as possible on my r?sum?, but that's not the best method. Recruiters don't have time to read several pages for each applicant. My career advisor at Pace helped me write a much more effective r?sum?.

For my Business and Professional Speech class, I had to pretend

that I was elected President of a major association. I researched the organization and its mission, wrote a speech, and even dressed in professional clothing

for my talk.

It was a really helpful project because it

made me more aware of how I want to

present myself in the professional world.

Romina from Peru Following her path to BA Communications

During my degree, I developed a competition

to examine companies that have created

diverse workforces and how this affected their business. We enlisted several professors to help out and invited executives from major corporations to act as judges. We had to limit the number of students who could participate because there was so

much enthusiasm.

It is very difficult to create and organize something from scratch. However,

it was an amazing opportunity and I am so happy and proud of what

I developed.

Stian from Norway Followed his path to MS Investment Management, now a Finance and Operations Manager at AUrate New York

I interned at MasterCard's worldwide

operations and technology headquarters

in St. Louis. It was amazing because I got to integrate all the different skills and concepts I'd learned in my classes at Pace within a professional

environment.

You get a lot of experience working with people from many different backgrounds at Pace. The working world is full of surprises so it really helps to be prepared for unexpected

challenges.

Vaibhav from India Followed his path to MS Information Systems, now a Senior Specialist in Fraud Intelligence and Strategy at MasterCard in New York

Pace's network provides so many opportunities to meet other students and alumni working for major companies here

in New York.

In any week, there might be 10 or more different events you can attend on campus. It's so helpful for making the transition from being a student to becoming a future

professional.

The list of services that Pathways provides is endless. A bit like a premium customer in a bank is given extra care, each Pathways student is given special attention. This includes answering admissions questions, processing your application, giving pre-arrival information, and orientation week. It is a one-stop solution for students who are looking for a helpful person. As an international student, I know what it is like to arrive in a new place with lots of questions. The Pathways staff make the process simple for students.
