What makes a company fit for Fortune’s list of the 100 Best Companies to Work For? For this project, you will find out what companies made the “cut” and why.

Directions:

1. Visit the website

2. Click on “100 Best to Work For” on the left-hand side menu

a. You should see Best Companies to Work For and a list of 100 Companies.

3. Using your PowerPoint skills you have obtained so far in this class, create a 10-12-slide presentation about one company from the list of 100.

4. You must sign up for the company you wish to research.

5. Please follow the requirements below to successfully complete this project.

Requirements:

You must include the following information in your presentation:

1. Company overview – what does it sell/provide/or service

2. Company revenue (in millions, etc.)

3. Location of Headquarters

4. Website address of company

5. Number of employees in U.S./outside U.S.

6. How many new jobs last year

7. Most common job (Professional)

8. Entry level salary (Professional)

9. Most common job (Production)

10. Entry level salary (Production)

11. Pick one job – either Professional or Production – and research

a. What training is involved

b. Where can one get the training? University/Technical School/On the Job

12. What do employees say about the job

Guidelines:

1. Create 10-12 slides

2. Use any design template that is appropriate

3. Create 2 hyperlinks (one will be the company’s website)

4. Include 4 clip art pictures that have custom animation effects

5. Add custom animation effects to subtitles (at least 3)

6. Include a slide transition to each slide (2 transition types is the maximum)

7. Save as: 100 Best Companies in My Projects Folder
