Prof. Shukla Mohanty, Pro – Vice Chancellor, Kolhan University, Jharkhand also addressed the participantsDevelopment of a systematic waste management system.Planning for systematic waste management is in process and partly practiced. There is provision of separate dust bin for wet and dry wastes in the campus.Provision of vending machine in students wash rooms for proper disposal of sanitary waste.Proper provision for disposal of waste in campus Hostels.Reinforcement of regular feedback system from all the stakeholders.Feed back from students, parents and alumni is invited and accordingly followed for the sake of betterment.Renovation and up-gradation of sick room.Sick room has been renovated and equipped with emergency drugs, wheel chair and first aid facility.Development of a nursery in the campus.Nursery has been developed and maintained by students of the department of Botany and members of ‘Green Earth Brigade’.Implementation of suggestion box department wise.Suggestion box has been placed in each department.Reformation of students’ Academic Performance Evaluation scheme at departmental level.It is practiced regularly with the help of class test, terminal exam, sentup test, students’ seminar, Quiz and various competitions.Exposure to students towards environmental, social and onsite study.Educational cum Excursion Tour: Puri and Jamshedpur, ‘SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT, KIIT UNIVERSITY’, TATA STEEL- CENTRE for Promotion of Professional Excellence (CPPE).
