Core faculty, Fielding Graduate University, Santa Barbara, CA. Serve as faculty

advisor for a cluster of Ph.D. students in clinical psychology who reside in

the Texas area, also teach individual and group courses on psychopathology,

theories of personality, cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy, psychological assessment, and developmental bases of behavior, via face-to-face and online modalities. Currently serve on the Senate Leadership Committee, the Academic Affairs Committee, and the School of Psychology Research Committee; IRB Psychology Subcommittee Chair; September 2004 to 2009.

Clinical Assistant Professor, Psychology Dept., The University of Texas at Austin, beginning Summer 2011; Lecturer, Psychology Dept., The University of Texas at Austin, Fall 2001 to Spring 2011; I have regularly taught sections of Psy. 301, provided advanced clinical supervision to UT clinical psychology graduate students, and maintained the UT Clinical Psychology Training Clinic clinical database / local practice research network. Managing compulsive eating and dieting tendencies, presented to the Seton Hospital "Good Health School" (1983) and to the Austin Regional Clinic, Health Education Program (1985); Breaking the smoking habit has been presented as a luncheon seminar offered through the UT Continuing Education Division (1982); Stress management and relapse prevention in alcoholism treatment was presented as a workshop at the Texas Alcoholism Commission's Institute of Alcohol Studies (1982); Developed and co-led a cognitive-behavioral anger management group for abusive men participating in the Family Violence Diversion Network of Austin and designed the program evaluation (1981-1983); Handling the aggressive personality was presented to the Texas Rehabilitation Commission (1982).

Childhood and Stress

Behavioral interventions for hyperkinesis was presented as a workshop through the Seton Hospital "Good Health School" (1981); Childhood and stress was presented at the Scott-White Clinic, Temple, TX as an invited address (1982); a monthly seminar on childhood stress and self-esteem enhancement was presented to the staff at the Settlement Club Home, an Austin residential treatment center for children (1982).
