your child as necessary and contact us with any questions about how we can support your child.

Reading

4th Grade Choice board

*Highly Suggested* Listen to My Rotten Red-Headed Older Brother for free on StoryLine Online. Once done, keep it pulled up in a separate tab as you then take the Quizizz in my Google Classroom. Once you click the link for Quizzizz in Google Classroom, you will log in with your Humble username and password and follow the prompts. A pop up will tell you that you've been invited to take a Quizziz and you can begin. IF you can't get into Quizizz, the questions are attached (pg 10-12) for you to print.

*Highly Suggested* On Common Lit, read the non-fiction article about Pixar! Click the link above (as a student logged in to your Humble Account) and choose to log in with Google. Then connect to my Google Classroom and begin the assignment. Read or listen to the article and answer the questions. IF you don't have technology, or is it giving your trouble, see attachment (pg 5-9) for you to print and send to Ms. Proctor when done.

If you didn't do it last week, (or need a reminder on Similes and Metaphors) watch Ms. Proctor's lesson in Google Classroom. Then, listen to the song "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch". Listen for any similes and metaphors. Pick ONE simile and ONE metaphor from the song. Create a Google Slide with one page for your simile and one for your metaphor. Tell me what two things were being compared, and infer what the author is trying to say. Then share with Ms. Proctor. If you don't want to do it on Google Slides, feel free to create a paper version and send it to her electronically.
