What is Speedy Dialer?

Speedy Dialer is a computerized telephone dialer (external hardware device) that plugs into the back of your computer (into the serial or USB port). It is NOT a voice modem; Speedy Dialer is a sophisticated single line device that includes a built-in telephone. Speedy Dialer allows you to place or receive calls (either live or with automated messaging), and it has the ability to recognize live answers vs. answering machines, busy signals, and disconnects. Call processing is much faster and more efficient than using voice modems or dialing by hand; therefore, you can make many more calls per hour.

What is Cheetah Software?

Cheetah is outbound and inbound telephone calling software for use with Speedy Dialer. Together, Cheetah and Speedy Dialer are ready to use for a wide variety of functions described in this brochure. In addition, software developers can use the included Tool Kit to develop their own applications. Cheetah software is free to end users and developers with the purchase of each Speedy Dialer.

• Cheetah software works with MicroSoft Windows 2000 or XP (also Windows 95, 98, or ME if you are using Cheetah and Speedy Dialer for Power Dialing only).

• Cheetah and Speedy Dialer operate on either a Desktop or a Laptop computer.

• Cheetah and Speedy Dialer work for either outbound calls or inbound calls.

The following functions are all included on the Cheetah CD:

OUTBOUND CALLING SOFTWARE

• Speedy Phone Book: You can keep a list of personal and/or business contacts and call anyone on that list with the click of a mouse. All of the available information about that contact will be displayed on the computer screen.

• Business Use: Cheetah Manager and Speedy Dialer can automatically dial high volumes of telephone numbers for one or more live agents. It’s an inexpensive alternative to a predictive dialer.

* The agent can hear the dialing and the answering of the telephone.

* The agent can instantly speak to the person who answers the telephone, or that telephone

number can be marked as a fax, answering machine, disconnected number, busy, or no answer.

* The live agent can click on “Dial” at any time to begin dialing again or dialing can

automatically begin after a predetermined number of seconds.

* No calls are dropped since each call is always connected to a live agent.

* Each live agent will be able to view information about the person who has been called,

depending on the contact manager or database that is being used.

* The live agent will be able to read scripts and type in notes about that call.

* Conversations can be recorded (voice logging) onto your hard drive.

* Calls can be transferred or conferenced if you have Centrex or 3-way calling service

from your telephone company.

* A popup calendar automatically reminds you when to it’s time to call someone.

* If the call is answered by someone’s voice mail or answering machine, the agent can

click a button to play a pre-recorded message rather than speak the message.

* Reports are available showing the results of the calls.

* “Do Not Call” management is included to help protect against dialing anyone on a

federal, state, or private “Do Not Call” list, if needed for your application.

[pic] Hands Free-Voice Activated Calling

Calls can be received or placed by using your own voice commands with Cheetah and a speech recognition program such as “Dragon Naturally Speaking”. Works great for physically impaired people or anyone needing use of both hands while talking on the telephone.

Networking Multiple Agents for Power Dialing

• You can start with only one Cheetah and Speedy Dialer and add more as needed.

• Each can be independent or you may network multiple units to a server to access a contact manager or a central data base of telephone numbers.

• The number of units you can network will depend on several factors including your data base

type and size, how many users are on the network, and the speed of the network.

• Windows XP Home will network up to 4 stations and Windows XP Pro and Windows 2000 will network up to 10 stations. To network more than 10 stations, Windows 2000 Server is required.

• Wireless networks are not supported since they are too slow.

• You will need a network technician or administrator if you want to network your computers together.

Optional: Fax while Power Dialing

• Agents can instantly send information by fax to the person with whom they are talking. A fax modem is required in the computer.

Auto Dialer

• Cheetah and Speedy Dialer can automatically call a list of telephone numbers and deliver a pre-recorded message as an announcement, reminder, question, etc.

• It will start and stop at the times you determine.

• It can deliver one message to answering machines while delivering a different message to live answers.

• Your automated calls can deliver a simple message or you can design your calls with several choices such as: 1) deliver a greeting, 2) then ask the person called to press a key on their touchtone phone to confirm that they are ready to hear your message, 3) deliver the message, 4) ask the person called to respond to a question by pressing a key on their touchtone phone, 5) ask the person called to leave a voice mail message, 6) play a day, date, and time reminder, 7) ask if they want to repeat the previous information, 8) press a key to transfer the call to speak to someone live, and 9) end the call with another message.

• Voice mail messages may be heard on your computer’s speaker, but if you have a broadband internet connection, the voice mail messages can be automatically e-mailed to the recipient and heard on their computer’s speaker.

• You may store many different lists of telephone numbers in the system.

• When used in conjunction with the Cheetah Voice Mail-Auto Attendant, you may call in from a remote location with a secret pass code, record your message, select a list of telephone numbers, and command the system to start calling to deliver your message.

• Note: To transfer calls to speak to someone live, you will need Centrex (call transfer disconnect) on your telephone line.

• Reports are available showing the results of the calls.

• “Do Not Call” management is included to help protect against dialing anyone on a federal, state, or private “Do Not Call” list, if needed for your application.

Reminder

• As a part of the Auto Dialer, the Reminder function is available to remind about appointments, etc. It can call each person and say the day, date, and time of their appointment. For example: “Hello, this is Dr. Jones calling with an appointment reminder. Your appointment is on Tuesday March 21st, at 3 pm. To repeat this reminder, press 1, to confirm that you will be here, press 2, or to leave us a message, press 3. Thank you.”

How-R-U

• As a part of the Auto Dialer, the How-R-U function can call a daily list of senior citizens,

disabled people, or the home-bound and inquire if they are ok or if they need assistance.

• When someone indicates that they need assistance, the operator of the system will hear an alert on the computer, see a flashing screen, receive an Email, and/or receive a printout notification.

• Cheetah and Speedy Dialer can keep redialing the same telephone number 1) until it is answered or 2) multiple times for a set number of calls or a set period of time. Examples of uses are: to get concert or sports tickets, to reserve a sports time, to enter a radio contest, to get through to a radio talk show, or to vote in a contest.

Cheetah and Speedy Dialer will be able to call someone (or sound an alarm) with a message to alert them of various kinds of environmental conditions at that site. Examples are: temperature or humidity or wind speed above or below a desired range, glass breakage, opened doors or windows, smoke detection, gas detection, radiation detection, water levels, or snow depth. By Using This Product, Buyer/User Agrees To These Terms:

• TELEPHONE SERVICE: One or more standard ANALOG telephone lines (business or residential) or T-1 DIGITAL lines may be used with this product. Important note: If Buyer/User intends to use the live call transfer feature, or if Buyer/User intends to use T-1 lines (24 lines each), please go to our technical support web site: and click on “Telephone Service Requirements” for the details needed to properly order telephone service from a telephone company.

• MINIMUM COMPUTER REQUIREMENTS: A computer with Windows 2000 or XP with at least 500 MHZ processor, 128 megs of RAM, 1 gigabyte of AVAILABLE hard drive space, a standard Serial Port or USB Port, CD ROM Drive, Super VGA Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse, & Surge Protector and/or Battery Backup for the electrical & telephone lines. • EXPRESS ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY: Manufacturer warrants that its hardware and software will be free of any significant defects for one year from purchase date. (There is no warranty on accessories such as headsets and cables). Manufacturer will repair or replace damaged or malfunctioning products at no charge, if within the warranty time limit and if there has been no damage by accidents, lightning or power surges, or misuse or abuse by the Buyer/User. Buyer must return any defective hardware prior to Manufacturer’s shipping a replacement or Buyer must give a credit card number authorizing a charge until the defective hardware is returned to Manufacturer. Buyer/User and Manufacturer will each pay the shipping costs of returning any items to each other for repair or replacement. THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES THAT ARE NOT INCLUDED HERE.

• TECHNICAL SUPPORT: To begin using Technical Support, Buyer/User must first REGISTER at . Three Hours or One Year (whichever comes first) of Technical Support is included with the purchase price for the original Buyer/User. An additional Three Hours or One Year of Extended Technical Support may be purchased for $150. Technical Support includes helping User install and learn how to use this software and hardware. Technical Support does not include teaching the User how to use a computer or how to use other vendors’ software such as Windows or databases, or how to use telephone systems or network computers. Technical Support can explain to the User how to import and manage User’s telephone number lists and Do Not Call lists, but Technical Support cannot actually edit or modify User’s lists for him/her. If User does not have basic computer skills, a professional should be hired to contact Technical Support for installation and training. Technical Support will accept and return calls Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, except for holidays. Also, User may at any time leave VOICE MESSAGES or send FAXES or E-mails with questions and problems. Above times are US Central Time Zone (subject to change). Technical Support will make every reasonable effort to resolve questions and problems on a timely basis, within the times listed above; however, Technical Support may not always be able to resolve every problem nor respond to every call immediately.

• SOFTWARE & MANUAL UPDATES: After the initial purchase, updates to the Software and Manual are available free of charge if Buyer obtains them from Manufacturer’s Technical Support Web Site; however, a new copy of the Software on a CD is $20 and a printed hard copy of the Manual is $20. These prices include shipping by US Post Office. Overnight shipping is an additional $10 in the USA.

• DISCLAIMER: The Manufacturer strives to provide the highest quality software and hardware; however, there are a number of factors that can cause system malfunctions, including but not limited to operator error, software corruption, software bugs, telephone line problems, hardware defects, and computer failures. The Manufacturer and its technicians cannot be responsible if User adds other software or hardware that corrupt the system or for computer hardware failures. User is responsible for making frequent backups of his or her system to protect against any losses of valuable data. Manufacturer cannot be responsible for loss of data for any reason whatsoever. Manufacturer will not be liable for any lost revenue, lost profits, or other expenses due to loss of data, hardware or software problems, or for any other reason.

• DISCLOSURE OF LIABILITY/RESPONSIBILITY: Buyer/User assumes all liability and responsibility for operating Manufacturer’s products according to any federal, state, or local laws pertaining to the use of “Automatic Dialing & Announcing Devices, Power Dialing Devices, or Fax Broadcasting Devices” and may not use them in any illegal way. Buyer/User is aware that limitations may include commercial solicitations and/or delivering pre-recorded telephonic messages to homes & businesses without the prior express consent of the called party. A violation of any such laws may result in significant penalties & other sanctions. Any person intending to use these products for solicitation purposes (direct marketing, telemarketing, etc.) should consult with their own counsel, prior to purchasing or using these products, to determine the extent of permissible solicitation activities. User may be responsible for maintaining a “Do Not Call” list as may be required by any laws.
