ADDENDUM NUMBER 1 TO THE BID DOCUMENTS

To all general contract bidders of record on the Bid Proposal titled:

BID DOCUMENT G2010.0092 EVC Gym Floor Refinishing Project

Evergreen Valley College

Addendum Date: June 13, 2014

A. This Addendum shall be considered part of the bid documents for the above mentioned project as though it had been issued at the same time and shall be incorporated integrally therewith. Where provisions of the following supplementary data differ from those of the original bid documents, this Addendum shall govern and take precedence.

B. Bidders are hereby notified that they shall make any necessary adjustments in their estimates as a result of this Addendum. It will be construed that each bidder's proposal is submitted with full knowledge of all modifications and supplemental data specified herein.

Additional Information about this Solicitation

Work Hours Work Hours shall be from 7:00 am ? 6:00 pm Monday-Friday. The Contractor may request extended weekday hours or weekend work in writing to the Program Manager, in order to facilitate a shorter construction duration.

Preliminary Project Schedule The Contractor shall submit a preliminary project schedule with the Bid Proposal. The schedule shall include the following activities (at a minimum):

Mobilization / Cleanup / Demobilization Sanding of existing flooring Line painting / Baseboard Installation / Vinyl Flooring Installation Sealant coat / Cure Time ? list each coat / number of coats / cure time duration

Documents Accompanying Bid Proposal; Signatures. The Bid Proposal must be submitted with:

(a) Bid Security, (b) Proposed Subcontractors Form, (c) Non-Collusion Declaration, (d) the

Construction Careers Agreement's Appendix A ? "Agreement to be Bound" and Appendix B ?

Construction Technology Program "Agreement of Contractors", and (e) the Small/Disadvantaged

Business Utilization Form, (f) Preliminary project schedule. The Bid Proposal and the Non-

Collusion Declaration shall be executed by an individual duly authorized to execute the same on

behalf of the Bidder. Any Bid Proposal not conforming to the foregoing may be rejected as being

non-responsive.
