¡ö SOCCER? BOYS C TEAM GAME 5:00 @SM Soccer Complex

¡ö VOLLEYBALL? SOPHOMORE TRIANGULAR 5:00 @SMWHS

? DEBATE?: At the Blue Valley Southwest TOC Invitational, Free State had four teams in the top

25?, they were: Serena Rupp and John Marshall, Tim Huffman and Jacob Wilkus, Jack Bellemere and

Ethan Harris, Matt Brandenburger and Aiden Basore.

? DEBATE?: At the Shawnee Mission South tournament, Free State placed 1st overall as a school

out of 31 schools competing?! The team of Emma Hefty and Kady Bischmann were undefeated and

placed 2nd, Aaron Persinger and Michael Bido were 6th, Kohana Mehl-McKee and Eric Tekolste

were 7th, Lily Pickard and Shannon Dahl were 8th! Five other Free State teams achieved winning

records at the tournament and earned honorable mentions!

? ALL STUDENTS AND STAFF?:? Technology Services is ?restoring student access to BYOD

wireless ?until we develop solutions to meet the needs of students and staff while protecting our

network for educational use. We will engage students and staff in helping to develop these solutions.

? Auditions? for the school musical "?A Chorus Line?" are ?after school on Tuesday, October 1 and

Wednesday, October 2?. Sign up on the bulletin board outside the Black Box if you are interested in

auditioning for the show, or working on the crew. Don't worry if you have never been in a show

before, ?auditions are open to everyone?!

? Picture Retake Day? is Tuesday, October 1?. Pick up an order form in the front office and bring it

with you to the photographer if you would like to order pictures. ?October 1 is the only time Rolland

Studios is accepting retake orders? since there is not an online order option for retakes. Bring your

best smile!

? The ?Theatre Department's first production? of the year,? "Who Poisoned His Meatball" directed

by Senior, Joe Zollner,? opens next week. ?Tickets are $15 and include an Italian-style buffet

dinner,? dessert and a great show. Performances are? October 3, 4, and 5 at 7:00 PM ?and there is a

2:00 PM matinee on October 5?, as well. See ?Ms. Waller in the Black Box for tickets, or email:

? If you are ?taking the PSAT? on ?October 16th?. Please stop by ?Student Services? to pick up i?mportant

information for test day.? You will also need to pick up your ?Practice Test? if you have not already

done so.

? Free State Speech and Debate? will host 'Trivia Night' on Thursday, October 17th? - and we want

you to join us! Teams of up to five may ?enter between now and October 14th?. Compete, and win

great prizes! Students and staff are welcome to compete! The ?cost is $10 per team?. Pick up

registration forms outside of room 329?.

? Hey Students!? If you ?get a coupon for a chance at a two week prime parking space? from a

teacher for demonstrating Respect, Responsibility and Excellence, drop it in the bucket in the front

office for your chance to win!

? Attention? A.P. Euro students?! Need tutoring or study help? Your fellow Firebirds, Braiden Bangalan

& Elana Ho are offering? tutoring on Wednesdays before or after school and on Tuesdays &

Thursdays after school?. See Ms. Stebbins for their contact information.

? Students, if you are taking an AP class?, please make sure you register to take your AP tests?.

Registration is NOW? and will not take place in the spring. You need to ?register on College Board

forms and ?sign up for an audition spot on the bulletin board outside the Black Box?. Crew sign

ups and information sheets are posted, as well. Ms. Waller will conduct an ?audition workshop? on

Thursday, September 26 in the Black Box from 5:30-6:30 PM?. If you want to learn the dance

combination early, learn what you need to expect at auditions, or just have questions, come to the

workshop or see Ms. Waller in the Black Box.
