This is to help practise the correct heights of letters in words. You could practise your spellings, high frequency words or common exception words on this paper. Reminder: full stops and capital lettersIn Year 2, full stops are very important. Children are expected to “punctuate MOST sentences with capital letters and full stops (and to use question marks correctly when required)”. Some children will be expected to do this for virtually ALL sentences. It would be really helpful if you could remind your children of this so that they are thinking about full stops and capitals as they go along.Maths – 30 minutes daily- Complete one column (every day) on the “Daily number facts practice” sheet:Facts to 10Facts to 20- Complete a maths frenzy (once a week):Facts to 10 - Sheet 2A or 2BFacts to 20 – Sheet 3A or 3BFacts to 100 – Sheet 4A or 4B- See “2Do” activities set on Purple Mash- Maths slides (see separate document on website).
