How to Register and Download Microsoft Office

As a current student, faculty, or staff of Ivy Tech, you are eligible to download Microsoft Office from within Campus Connect for free. This Office version contains the latest full versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Publisher, and Access. Office may be installed on up to 5 machines (PC or Mac). *Note: The default license term is one year. You will receive an email every year asking you to verify that you are still attending classes or employed at Ivy Tech. Your account will expire 12 months from your last verification. Office is not compatible with Windows Vista or Windows XP. If you have any issues or questions, please contact Microsoft at 1-855-561-4175 Hours: Mon-Fri, 6am-6pm EST.

1. Log into Campus Connect and click the Download Microsoft Office link from the Quick Links area.

2. Click on download website to register and account

3. Click on the Register button.

4. Select I have an institution issued email address and click Continue.

5. Enter your Ivy Tech email address and then click Continue. 6. Enter your information into the following form and click Register.

7. Answer the security questions and click Save. *Note: Make sure to save your answers somewhere safe.

8. You will see a confirmation of your eligibility and an email will be sent to your Ivy Tech email address.

9. Login to your Ivy Tech email account. Once you receive the confirmation email, click the link as shown in the image below, and sign in.

10. Click on Buy Now button to complete the FREE purchase. 11. Click on Add to Cart. 12. Click on Check Out.

13. Select I Accept on the terms of agreement.

14. Click on Proceed With Order.

15. You will receive an email with your Office 365 username and temporary password. Go to your Ivy Tech email account, locate the email, and click on Get Office 365 to proceed. *Note: Save this email as it contains your username for downloading Office 365, which is different from your Ivy Tech username. You can download Office 365 on up to 5 computers and you will need this information. Do not delete this email!

16. Login with the information you received in the previous email. *Note: the username will end with @ivytechadmin.
