Open Circuit: An Introduction. Open Circuit hopes to make us laugh, connect us through our common circuit breaker experiences, and open us up, a little, to the separate lives we’re leading now. Through this creative challenge x talent show, we hope to encourage the NUS community to think out of the box and share the entertaining nuggets of their lives in this period Freshmen Orientation Camps (FOC) Category Submission GuidelinesCalling all Freshmen - Open Circuit is looking for you to participate with your Orientation Groups (OG) to share your online orientation experience in the form of a video performance! The top 3 prize-winning groups stand to receive up to $150 in pizza vouchers, not to mention glory for their Hall/RC/Faculty memorialised on our live show from 19-21 August!Each participating OG is to collectively create a video submission up to 1 min long that creatively and humorously captures their online Freshman Orientation Camp (FOC) experience. We’re looking for your original orientation memes in the context of social distancing, Zoom meetings and more! Each submission must be under one of the following categories:Category #Category Requirements#stayhomegameshowCreate a video about virtualised orientation games /challenges!#dunnoasklahCreate a funny video about orientation QnA! (Silly questions or answers are all welcome!)#arcadecharadeRecreate your orientation experience in a sandbox / social simulation video game (eg. Minecraft, Animal Crossing, etc.)If you would like to share your video with your friends on your Instagram, you can use the accompanying hashtag, and our event tag #OpenCircuitCFA to keep us in the loop! Technical guidelines:Submissions must be submitted as a group from the same Freshman Orientation Camp (FOC)! We encourage participation in orientation groups (OG), as a bonding activity. Other participants not in the FOC may be involved, if their permission to appear in the video is obtained.Please create your video in accordance with copyright laws. It is preferred that you use royalty-free music or original music in your videos, whether it is used as background music or as part of the main performance item.
