Cal Grants are FREE cash for college. The money can be used at the California Community Colleges, California State University and University of California, Private Non-Profit Independent Colleges and Universities, and eligible Private Non-Profit and For-Profit Colleges and for vocational, career and technical education.

By submitting a FAFSA you may qualify for federal, state, campus-based, and/or private scholarship aid. A federal Pell Grant can be for up to $5,600. You may also qualify for a Cal Grant up to $12,192, or Middle Class Scholarship tuition discount at a UC or CSU campus. By submitting a California Dream Act Application you may be eligible for a Cal Grant up to $12,192, or Middle Class Scholarship tuition discount at a UC or CSU, campus-based and or private scholarship aid.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO: 1. Have a minimum GPA of 2.0 2. Complete either a Free Application

for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act Application and GPA verification by March 2.
