1. Reactivating license of expired Microsoft Office Professional Plus

Under normal condition, User does not have to renew the license manually. The renew process is done automatically at the background on every 30 days with Internet connection. If installed Office is deactivated, it will remain on the computer. However, because the Office is not activated the user will only be able to open and view files. The installation must be reactivated to restore all features. When you see one of the message bars below says "the product is deactivated or unlicensed product", that means the Office license may be already expired or the license cannot be renewed

Important Notes: Ensure the Date; time and time zone are set correctly as below

Please follow one of the following methods to re-activate the Office license 1.1. Method 1 1.1.1. Open any Office365 application, either Word, Excel or PowerPoint, etc; 1.1.2. Go to "Account";

If prompted, sign in with your link account and password associated with your Office 365 subscriptions.

1.1.3. Click "Sign in";

1.1.4. Click "Yes" to continue;

1.1.5. Enter Login Name : 14243156@link.hkbu.edu.hk (14243156 is your SSOID); 1.1.6. Click "Next";

1.1.7. Enter Login Name : 14243156@link.hkbu.edu.hk (14243156 is your SSOID) and password;

1.1.8. Unchekced the "Keep me signed in"; 1.1.9. Click "Sign-in";

1.1.10. Click "OK" to complete the activation

1.2. Method 2 , if the activation window does not show up, please take the steps below to start the activation manually

1.2.1.Click "Account"; 1.2.2.Click "Resolve" 1.2.3.Repeat the steps 1.1.3-1.1.10
