The assessment is not timed. Reading the words correctly is more important than reading fast. It is okay to say I don t know if a word is too hard. Set #1 - Tell the student to read across the lines from left to right, one set at a time. Set #2 - Tell the student to read one sentence at a time. Set #3 - Explain that these are nonsense words. ................
