Student Attendance Tracking SystemABSTRACTThe Student Attendance Tracking System (SATS) is used to:Collect attendance information for students at the individual class levelConfirm students’ attendance for funding purposes, andTrack international students’ attendance.Attendance Tracker is an application for Android that lets you track your attendance level with ease. Type in your subjects, credits only once on Attendance Tracker and you'll never have to manually calculate your attendance ever in your life! Just make sure you tell Attendance Tracker ever time you skip a class and the app will take care of the rest. Besides just viewing bunks sorted based on subjects or dates, you can also receive alerts when your attendance falls to the bare minimum. Attendance as much as you can, and make sure you make yourself eligible to win at least our virtual bronze badge!IMPLEMENTATIONImplementation is the stage of the project when the theoretical design is turned out into a working system. Thus it can be considered to be the most critical stage in achieving a successful new system and in giving the user, confidence that the new system will work and be effective.The implementation stage involves careful planning, investigation of the existing system and it’s constraints on implementation, designing of methods to achieve changeover and evaluation of changeover methods.Modules:Attendance Tracker is an Bunk Lord app which is designed especially for students to keep track of their attendance level and get notified when attendance drops downAdd Details:Add your name, university name and minimum percent of the attendance. This is a one time process2. Specify Starting DateSpecify Semester number and starting date. This should be performed every time you click on reset. Note that the starting date should be lesser or equal to the current date.3.Add your subjectsClicking on the add button takes you to a page where you need to specify the subject name, credits and total number of classes in the semester. Once done click on the done button. In a similar fashion add all your subjects. Press done and we are good to go.4. Enter TimetableAdding your timetable is very simple. You just have to select the subject from the dropdown list box. After it's completed press your phone's menu button which shows you a menu. click done.5. DashboardYou can view all pages from the dashboard. You'll be shown the dashboard every time the app runs.6. Add/Delete bunksAdding/Deleting bunks involves just three steps. Choose the date from the date picker and click on specify bunks. In the following page check the classes you want to bunk and press add button at the bottom. Click on the trash button to delete.7. View bunksYou can either view all bunks or view by subject. View by subject displays a list of subjects and on clicking it takes you to the summary. View all lists all your bunks which are arranged by date.8. AlertsIn order to view the overall attendance click on alerts button in dashboard. Alerts page also notifies you when the overall percent drops down.9. Hall of FameCheck out some exciting stuff at the Hall of Fame.10.
