The Seattle Promise scholarship program provides all graduating seniors from Garfield High School with two years (90 credits) of FREE in-state tuition and support services at Seattle Central College.

With two tuition-free years of college you can dive into your studies and find an educational path that leads to a career you love. We'll be there every step of the way.
During your senior year of high school we'll help you complete college and financial aid applications, choose and register for your first classes, and give you guidance to be successful.
As a Seattle Promise scholar, you'll gain confidence and be prepared from your first day through your two years and beyond.
Benefits of Seattle Promise ? Free Tuition: You can study at Seattle Central College
tuition-free for two years.
? Readiness Academy: We will help you apply for financial
aid and admission to the college, assist you with choosing and registering for classes, and more.
? Summer Bridge: Before you start at Seattle Central College
you will learn about life on campus, meet instructors and staff, and learn about college resources and support.
? Year-Round Support: A student success specialist will
check in with you on a regular basis and continue to help you navigate your college experience.
? Beyond the Two Years: We will help you determine your
next steps in your education goals.

Seattle Promise scholarship guidelines
What is the program?
The Seattle Promise program is designed to provide the financial support and personal guidance you need to succeed in college. The program is open to all students of eligible Seattle public high schools regardless of GPA, income, or background. Seattle Promise scholars are eligible for the following:
? Support applying for financial aid and college
applications
? Full coverage of any tuition expenses remaining
after other scholarships and financial aid
? Assistance with choosing and registering for classes ? Preparation for the transition to college ? Guidance and mentorship while attending college
What are the application requirements?
Eligible applicants will complete and submit the following applications to their partner college by the corresponding deadlines.

Recommended: Saturday, December 15, 2018 Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Washington Student Aid (WASFA)

Any graduating senior at a participating Seattle public high school can apply to attend their designated partner college.
