I have also started to make the left hand navigation consistent accross

the site, and add it to pages that would benefit that previously did

not

have navigation. This process is not yet complete.

Can you also please snd me a short sentance (no more than about 25

words) describing your site, and also a very short description (about 5

word) of your website. I will then add these to all your pages (hidden)

which should help with search engines.

I have spent just over an hour so far on the above updates (I managed

to

do then quite quickly), but if you reply and send the who's who

certificate and let me know about the Canadian web awards. I can then

spend the reaminder of the last hour making these updates, and going

through the rest of your site to work on the navigation, and add the

descriptions etc.

Im not certain you fully understand why there is a change of

circumstances.

You see, I am no longer an employee of Networld Networks, I left the

company

as their web designer in February. I now work from home as a freelance

designer. That is the reason why projects need to be outsourced to me.

It is

also the reason why every project needs to be priced up. If a client

doesnt

pay, I dont get paid. And Im sure you wont find many web designers out

there

that are willing to work for nothing. If there is a problem about the

price

Im sure we can negotiate and arrive at a mutual compromise.

You may remember back to when you initially came to Networld Networks

on

January 2004. We transferred your whole website onto a control panel as

you

stated that you wanted to make regular changes to your website. I also

remember spending a whole afternoon with you in the Networld Networks

office

showing you all the aspects of your control panel. However a few days

later

you accidentally deleted your website files. Networld Networks then

reinstalled your website files again and volunteered to offer you

further

help, rather than risk losing your website all over again.

Ordinarily it has been the company policy for Networld Networks to do

any

minor changes to clients websites, free of charge. However if the

changes

that are required are major, then there would be a fee. Networld

Networks

views this as a reasonable request. As you can very well understand it

is

costly to devote precious time to any project, in any industry,

anywhere in

the world.

As a gesture of goodwill we have been extremely generouse to you Dr

Umar. We

have done countless minor and major changes to your website, we have

also

added numerous extra pages, and also upgraded you to a bigger and more

reliable server on every opportunity. When you initially came to us

your

website was 50Mb big and we naturally placed you on an 85Mb server. In

June

2005 we noticed that your website was growing and nearing the limit of

the

server so we automatically upgraded you to a new 900Mb server! That

allowed

you more than enough room for your site to expand. More recently at the

beginning of this year we had another review of your website. Even

though you

were on the big 900Mb server, we decided to upgrade you once again to

an even

MORE powerful server. Currently you are on a 1800Mb server!!! Your

website is

now 182Mb - this is huge considering it is the biggest site that

Networld

Networks currently hosts. But still we've provided you with a server

that is

1800Mb! We have done all the changes, alterations, additions and

upgrades for

the past almost 2 and a half years, all FREE of charge!!!!

As you can see we have been more than good natured in our generosity to

you

and your website. I therefore hope that you understand my position.

appologies for not getting back to you sooner.

There have been some changes in the workflow of projects since we last

spoke.

Right now I'm working as a freelance designer. Im not based in the

Networld

Networks office anymore, and design work needs to be outsourced to me.

Due to

these changes we need to be more strict in the handling of projects.

Previously we have relaxed the rules when it came to changes and

alterations

to websites, but unfortunatley we cant afford to do that anymore.

The company policy has always been that any minor changes would be done

free

of charge, but any considerable changes would need to be paid for. If

anyone

required constant changes done to their website then we would advise a

control panel that would allow the client direct access to his website

files,

and they would be able to make as many changes to their own website

whenever they wanted.
