The BMW WiFi Hotspot offers the following services: Always on ? the Internet makes life easier, not only at home and in the office, but also and in particular when you are on the move. Wouldn't it be great to be able to surf as conveniently when out and about as you do when at home? Reliably, securely and quickly without using up your smartphone data allowance? This is precisely what the BMW WiFi Hotspot delivers.

Accessing the BMW WiFi Hotspot: 1. The customer orders a BMW with the optional extra Telephony with Wireless Charging. -> The car is delivered with a Wi-Fi module. 2. Registration at BMW ConnectedDrive (bmw-)

only if the customer wishes to change the vehicle's home country. 3. In the car: The customer connects their device to the Wi-Fi by entering

the security code generated by the car. 4. Upon entering a Web address, the customer is redirected to the HotSpot Drive website. 5. The customer registers only once. 6. The customer books an access tariff (HotSpot Drive Start) via the HotSpot Drive website,

selects their method of payment and starts to surf.

ACTIVATING THE BMW WIFI HOTSPOT.

Select `Communication' in your control display. Select `Manage mobile devices'.

Select `Connect new device'. Select `Internet hotspot'. The BMW WiFi Hotspot is activated automatically.

ACTIVATING THE BMW WIFI HOTSPOT.

Your Internet hotspot has now been activated and you can connect your mobile device to it. You have a two-minute window in which to do so. Naturally, each device only needs to be registered once ? just like at home.

BMW WIFI HOTSPOT SETTINGS.

Select `Settings'.

You can activate or deactivate the Internet hotspot here and can also change the hotspot name and security code using the `Options' button.

Once you have activated the Internet hotspot in your vehicle,

open the browser on your mobile device. The first time you

use the hotspot, you will be automatically redirected to the HotSpot Drive home page ().

Enter your personal information to create a customer account.

Activate your free, non-binding customer account in order to use the BMW WiFi Hotspot.

Now confirm your email address via the email sent to you. This will give you 15 minutes of free Wi-Fi use.
