Angela Hoy was a reporter for TV-10 in The Woodlands, Texas, an accountant and an office manager before joining launching in 1997 as a hobby. She divorced her ex (who had shunned her hobby as being a joke) in 1998 and married Richard Hoy in 1999. That "hobby" evolved into the largest-circulation freelance writing ezine in the world.
