In the evening – please advise us2)INDEMNITY CLAUSE:Whilst all reasonable precautions are taken in the care of all cats boarded at CATSINNSANDTON BOARDING CATTERY it is clearly understood that no liability is accepted for any death, loss, injury or illness – due to escape, accident, infection, or any other cause whatsoever, suffered by any boarder at CATSINNSANDTON BOARDING CATTERY. This indemnity shall apply regardless of whether any such death, loss, injury or illness may be due to any neglect or action of any of our staff3)In the event of the death of any cat in the care of CATSINNSANDTON BOARDING CATTERY a veterinary opinion will be sought as to the Cause of Death, should the Owner of the cat so wish. This consultation will be at the expense of the owner of the cat(s)4)Deworming and tick/flea treatment can be administered if requested, at an extra charge5)Should the cat(s) become ill during their stay with CATSINNSANDTON BOARDING CATTERY Veterinary treatment will be sought. The cat owner’s vet as per the Boarding Agreement Admission Form will be contacted. Should he/she be unable to consult CATSINNSANDTON BOARDING CATTERY will utilise a.n. other veterinary clinic – normally Rivonia Vet. The owner will be consulted first. All costs would be for the owner’s account6)No responsibility will be accepted for any articles / items such as collars, leads, containers, and / or bedding left at the premises of CATSINNSANDTON BOARDING CATTERY. We ask that you remove collars prior to leaving your cat(s) with CATSINNSANDTON BOARDING CATTERY. 7)All extra charges will be added to the account, which has to be settled in full prior to the cat(s) being allowed to be removed from CATSINNSANDTON BOARDING CATTERY 8)ABANDONMENT:Any cat(s) not collected within one week (7 days) of the “date out” will be regarded as having been abandoned by the owner; the owners of CATSINNSANDTON BOARDING CATTERY will then make arrangements to rehome the cat(s) at a shelter or at the SPCA All costs incurred will still be for the cat(s) owners account9)Should it be in the best interest of the cat, Management of Catsinnsandton Boarding Cattery will move the cat(s) from one type of unit to another and advise the cat(s) owner accordingly. Date Out: …………………………………………………………….SIGNATURE: …………………………………………………………… DATE: ………………………………………… GENERAL INFORMATION (1)INDOOR UNITS (7)Each indoor unit has isotherm insulation between the roof and the ceiling which assists in keeping the units cool in summer and warm in winter. The sleeping (snuggle) boxes are situated on a table inside the unit, and contain a cushion with blankets. Floor mats cover the floor. The litter trays are housed in litter boxes for privacy. Food and water bowls are supplied. There are fans situated in the security corridor to assist in the summer heat - hot bottles are supplied during the winterCAT GARDENWe have a fully enclosed 4M x 4M Cat Garden attached to the Indoor Cattery. In it are plants, tree stumps, grass, etc… Grass is planted in a large container. There are tree stumps for the cats to scratch on, or to sit on….. GARDEN UNITS – PREMIUM AND CLASSIC (4 + 4)These consist of wooden chalets housed within welded mesh cages, set on paved flooring. Each chalet has insulation inside it’s roof. Floor mats cover the floor in summer, and extra matting is added in the chalets in winter. The litter trays are housed in litter boxes for privacy. Food and water bowls are supplied. The Garden Units each have their own small garden – they do not have access to the Cat Garden. There are ledges attached to the mesh walls for the cats to lie on to survey the outside world!GARDEN UNITS – THE SHIRE (HOBBIT UNITS)(4)These consist of small wooden chalets, housed within plastic mesh cages, with gravel flooring. These are ideal for those cats who cannot take the sun as they are totally shaded, with sufficient sunlight getting through. They have roofing over the units, so are protected from the rain. They are calm peaceful units, tucked away from passing traffic, yet close enough for daily interaction. They sleep 1 -2 cats each, and each has a small garden with its own plants. The units have cat ledges on their roofs for the cats to sit on and shelves are attached to the wire mesh walling in places tooBEDDINGBeds and bedding are supplied – we have blankets to suit all weather conditions – and plenty of them! Fleece (as in sheep), small baby fleece blankets, small lightweight blankets – and extra warm blankets for winter. Cushions and pillows supplied. Hot “water” bottles are available for each cat in winter. An electric wall heater can be supplied at an extra chargeNOTE:It is preferred that you do not bring bedding for your cats, especially in the hot summer months. All bedding and / or blankets brought to be listed on separate list and handed in to owner of catsinnsandton boarding cattery to be listed on your customer cardDo bring along an old t-shirt of yours – this will assist your cat in settling down. Note that the onus remains on you to remember to take back any items that you leave…. This applies to toys too (by the way only kittens play with toys – older cats need someone to play with them with their toys….)CatsInnSandton Boarding CatteryGENERAL INFORMATION (2)FOOD FOR YOUR CAT(S) We supply Royal Canin Exogent as a dry food, and Friskies Jelly sachets as wet food. We feed the cats twice daily. In the morning they get kibbles only, and in the evenings they get Friskies mixed with their kibbles. We have found that feeding them kibbles and wet food at night settles them well. This is a well balanced diet. Fresh water is given at feeding time in the morning; water is then checked throughout the day and refreshed accordinglyShould your cat be on a prescription diet, or you would prefer to keep your cat on his/her normal diet, PLEASE BRING THIS FOOD WITH YOU IN A CONTAINER CLEARLY MARKED WITH YOUR NAME. WHEN CHECKING IN YOU WILL NEED TO COMPLETE A “SPECIAL REQUIRMENTS” FORM WITH FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS AND LISTING THE FOOD YOU HAVE BROUGHT – WHICH WILL BE ADDED TO YOUR CUSTOMER CARDCAT CARRIER BOXESIt is very important that your cat(s) are delivered and collected in cat carriers. If you do not have one, please advise us and we will meet you with a cat carrier to bring the cat from your car into our catteryWE CANNOT STORE YOUR CAT BOXES ON OUR PREMISES – THESE MUST BE TAKEN HOME WITH YOUTAXI SERVICE We can collect and / or deliver your cat for you, at a charge of R5.00 / kilometre (round trip). Must be within 15 kms of our cattery. These costs to be paid prior to collection or delivery against invoiceMEDICINESIf medicines need to be administered please discuss this with us. We do not charge extra for pills / tablets / liquid medicines that need to be given daily. We do need to be advised on how your cat(s) accepts his / her medicines!
