Collection box is in the Commons. Thanks! NEEDED: Cat and Dog Food The Bucks County SPCA is running extremely low on Adult Wet Canned Dogfood and Adult Wet Canned Catfood. To keep the animals on a steady diet and ease stomach upset, they prefer Purina ONE brand for dogs and Friskies Pate or Fancy Feast brands for cats.2660650508000While the number of available animals you see online is low today, there are dozens of hungry cats and dogs in our holding areas. Animals are either awaiting medical assessments like spay/neuter surgery or foster care (including a few litters of adorable kittens). The SPCA also needs to stock the pantry shelves in anticipation of the hundreds of cats/dogs that come with every warm-weather cycle and upcoming transports from other overcrowded shelters. Please leave donations at the Pet Ministry table. Sandy Anthony will deliver them to the shelter. Thank you!Breakfast Bag Supplies for MayThank you to our generous community for supporting the monthly collections! Our May Collection is Breakfast Bag Supplies for Aid for Friends. A list of requested supplies will be posted in the Service Ministry area of the Commons and on the church website. It is because of you that we are able to walk alongside communities around the world to build long-term, sustainable solutions to hunger and poverty. As in Senegal where many find themselves among the 10.7% living on less than $1.90 per day. Lutheran Development Services has provided health huts, microloan programs, and an animal husbandry center that enables year-round milk production.”2.From On Eagle’s Wings Ministries Director, Rev. Look over the items on the table in the Commons. One side has resources you may take and keep; the other side has materials that you may borrow (honor system). On loan resources for the month of May focus on Lutheran and Roman Catholic relations. It is encouraging to see so many individuals and families take interest in these important resources. NOTE: if you still have a resource from a previous month, please return it as soon as possible to the display table. Thank you!-12708699500Each week our congregation prays during worship for family members and friends who are ill, grieving, or experiencing difficulties.?Later in the week we mail these individuals a postcard to let them know we are thinking of them and praying for them. For those who are not listed in our church directory, we need his/her address. Please let the church office know.
