1. Why did Frontline acquire Centris?

At Frontline, we are actively pursuing a vision to bring the K-12 education community a comprehensive, integrated portfolio of solutions. Special education management is a key component of this portfolio, and Centris is the clear leader with a strong set of solutions and industry expertise. Bringing these solutions together will open up even more opportunities for K-12 organizations to make connections and gain insights across various operations of the district.

In addition, Frontline and Centris already share hundreds of mutual customers. For both companies, customer satisfaction comes first. Together, we believe we can offer an even better experience to mutual and prospective customers.

2. Why did Centris Group management decide to be acquired by Frontline?

Over the years, Centris has been approached by countless companies interested in acquiring the company. Until now, we never seriously considered it because we were busy building a sustainable business which is a leader in the field, and none of those companies fully shared our values.

Our overarching considerations when making the decision were to ensure that it would allow us to continue our mission on a larger scale, sustain our best-in-class product and service philosophy, stay together as a team, and provide a cultural fit. Frontline is the right company at the right time.

3. Who is Frontline?

Frontline Technologies provides cloud-based K-12 software that empowers over 7,500 school districts and millions of educators to positively impact student learning. 4. Who owns Frontline?

Frontline is majority owned by Insight Venture Partners (IVP), a private equity company based in NYC. IVP has an impressive portfolio and success in building the value of their companies, including well-known companies like Twitter, Tumblr and Hootsuite, and educational companies like Achieve3000, OpenEnglish, Academic Partnership, PHD Virtual and Illuminate Education.

5. Why is the acquisition a good thing for customers?

With an 84% overlap in customers, Frontline and Centris already serve many of the same organizations ? and share the same focus on providing outstanding customer support and creating innovative technology solutions, designed from a practitioner perspective.

Like Centris, Frontline is a trusted subject matter expert in K-12 education and a partner in supporting best practices, compliance and professional development. Frontline will build upon the strong solutions and services reputation that Centris has earned, continuing a shared dedication to serving the education community.

Both Frontline and Centris have a strong client focus. Centris currently has a 99% retention rate and 95% customer satisfaction rating. That high level of service will not change ? in fact, Frontline was recently named a Stevie Awards 2016 Customer Service Department of the Year and has a customer retention rate of 97% across all products.

6. Will there continue to be a focus on Special Education?

Yes ? this is 100% of the focus of the Centris organization. In fact, other Frontline departments will be assisting and providing additional resources to the Centris team, but under the direction of the Centris team and leveraging the Frontline customer relationships to expand our Special Education customer base.

7. What does this mean for the current Centris product line?

Frontline's resources will provide a greater investment in the products, services and state-specific solutions that have set Centris apart. Frontline will continue to support and enhance the products, meet state regulations and respond to the specific needs of each state.

8. Will we still have the option to purchase through the RICs/BOCES in New York?

Yes, Frontline will honor all Centris agreements that allow districts the option to purchase through the RICs and BOCES. Centris and Frontline share a long history of partnering with New York RICs and BOCES, and that commitment will become even stronger.

9. Is the pricing of Centris products going to change?

Frontline has no plans to change pricing for existing products for the 2016-2017 school year. We will evaluate pricing as we bring new offerings and enhancements to the IEP product line.

10. Will I still get the same responsive and personal service?

Absolutely, you will still be supported by the same team, with local and state-specific support in the field. Additionally, Frontline will continue and expand the commitment to customer service ? with a 97% client satisfaction rating and customer support awards to back it up.

11. Will I still work with the same team from Centris?

The people that you know and talk to at Centris, from leadership to local trainers and customer service teams, are remaining with Frontline. Centris leadership will work hand in hand as part of the Frontline team to advance special education solutions within the education community with a goal of becoming the #1 special education provider in the US.

12. Does Frontline support integration with other K-12 administrative software solutions?

Both Centris and Frontline are committed to ongoing support and growth of partnerships in the administrative solutions arena. Frontline's software solutions currently integrate with over 180 K-12 administrative software providers; together with Centris, we support over 200 vendor relationships and are more committed than ever to linking into an essential ecosystem of information providers.

13. If I am in the implementation process now, will any of my timelines change?

Your timelines will not change, and you will continue working with the same implementation and training staff.
