Substitute Expectations

? Treat all students with respect and courtesy ? Degrading physical or verbal conduct toward students will not be

tolerated ? Demeaning or sarcastic comments will not be tolerated ? Do not physically discipline students ? You shall not make physical contact with students except to shake

hands or high five ? You can make physical contact with a student in an emergency

situation where the student may be in danger and needs assistance

Substitute Expectations

? Treat all employees with professional respect and courtesy ? Do not make comments of any sexual nature to students, staff or faculty ? Any physical contact of a sexual nature with students is a crime under the North Carolina

General Statutes ? Such conduct will not be tolerated and will result in immediate termination

? Abide by the instructions and directives given to you by the campus administration ? Follow the lesson plans and instructions left for you by the classroom teacher ? Follow the Technology Responsible Use policy and monitor student use of school

technology

? Take all security measures seriously and you shall not divulge any security measures with

anyone

? You shall not share any confidential student information to family members, friends, or the

general public. This is against school policy and against the law.
