We covered test item specifications and answered many questions regarding testing. ALL 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders are expected to be on campus by 8:30am. PLEASE plan for traffic congestion and leave a few minutes early to check in and get settled. Once testing begins, students will NOT be allowed in the testing room and you will have to return during the scheduled make-up days. FSA Testing and Pacing - Please be aware pacing guides were created prior to final FSA published testing dates. Generally, they are within one week of each other. Pacing will need to be adjusted during these weeks. Please reach out to Mrs. Besuden or Mrs. Sohel if you have questions regarding pacing during the FSA testing windows. We will be more than happy to assist you in creating an adjusted schedule during that time frame. Note: ALL ELA and Math, and Science-5th grade, should be completed prior to 3rd, 4th, & 5th grade FSA testing.CONTINUING NEWS:New phone numbers! OCVS has assigned new phone numbers to all of the teachers. It is an expectation once a student completes ELA and Math subjects in the curriculum, they complete a minimum of 2 iReady lessons in math and 2 iReady lessons in reading on a weekly basis (unless a specific plan was put into place) to remain fresh and maintain their speed. Students who complete a course early and do not review, will begin to start the ‘summer slide’ early. This is reflected by lower scores on the 3rd iReady Diagnostic and the FSA.
