Foreword

The Clutch Division of Eaton Corporation has its origin way back in 1938. Then known as the Auburn

Clutch Company, manufacturing operations started with the production of a line of clutches designed

primarily for agricultural and industrial applications.

Continuous investment in design and development led to vast technological improvements and new

designs to the clutch range. By the early 1940's clutches were being supplied to several automotive,

earthmoving and truck manufacturers.

In 1968, further research and development produced the patented Angle Spring Clutch. This has

become the industry standard replacing the previous direct pressure and diaphragm spring designs.

In late 1997, Eaton Corporation and Dana Corporation agreed on an historic deal: Eaton would sell its

axle and brake business to Dana, and Dana would sell its clutch business to Eaton. Then, the two

former competitors came together in a marketing agreement whereby a complete commercial vehicle

drivetrain of components produced by both companies would be marketed by Eaton¡¯s sales and

marketing force ¨C providing truck makers and fleets around the world with a complete drivetrain system ¨C

The Roadranger System.

Eaton Fuller Clutch is committed to maintaining global leadership in clutch design and development, a

position which has been established over the last half a century.

By continuing to invest our resources and with our many years of experience, Eaton are continually

improving the clutch products. This commitment is evident with the Eaton Fuller "Easy-Pedal" and

"Solo" design clutches.

Eaton Fuller clutches are competitively priced and are acknowledged by people in the industry for their

reliability and are ready availability throughout Australasia, being serviced by an extensive network of

Original Equipment Dealers and major Parts Distributors.

For product reliability, competitiveness and service your first and best choice is Eaton.
