Introduction

Washington State is full of unique people, places, businesses and history. You and your group have been chosen to create a brochure about Washington that will attract tourists to our state and within our state. Washington businesses need your help to attract new business.

Task

Your team of four will be producing a brochure, as part of a larger advertising campaign, to attract people to Washington.

Procedure

Your brochure will have 6 sections, each consisting of approximately one page and should be created in Publisher. These sections will be divided as follows:

▪ Cover

▪ General Information – weather, location, geography etc

▪ Historical Places

▪ Parks/Beaches/Volcanoes

▪ Agriculture/Animals

▪ WA Fun Facts

The entire team will design the cover and produce the General information section.

The last four pages will be individually done. Each of you will choose or “draw out of the hat” one category and create a page on some of your favorite facts or attractions.

Your pages should include the websites that you used as well as graphics. When completed, your pages will be put together as one group brochure. Remember, businesses are depending on you to attract tourists therefore this needs to be a nice presentation.
