What can you do to remember this and let it encourage you when you get worn out?What current situation are you in right now that you need some determination for?Is?there anything specific you need prayer for this week??Any prayers answered from last week??Activities?Mother’s Day “Mother’s Day” is a?special craft made to?celebrate the women in our students’ lives who fill the mothering role.?What You Need:?“Happy Mother’s Day” card, markers, crayons, paints or any other craft suppliesWhat You Do: Print out the Mother’s Day Card. Fold the card in half so the “Happy Mother’s Day” is on the front.?Have your child write on each line, filling in the blanks on the inside of the card. Have them write their name at the bottom. Encourage them to color and decorate the front with whatever you have on hand. What You Say:?“It’s Mother’s Day, which is a special day! On Mother’s Day we get to celebrate the women who help?to?take care of us. We get to do nice things for them! Let’s make a special card.?On each line on the inside, write something of why you love your Mom, Grandma, Aunt, or other friend. Don’t forget to write your name on your picture. Then have fun decorating the front anyway you like. Please let me know if you need any help.”??Then Say: “Now you have a special gift to give for Mother’s Day!?Look at your beautiful card!?(Pause.) You are so loved and valued by God and me!”?Holy Spirit ScrambleWhat You Need: “Holy Spirit Scramble” Activity Pages, computer/tablet/phone with Internet accessWhat You Do:Give your child an Activity Page, starting with the first page.Give them a few minutes to try to learn the Bible story phrase in sign language. (The phrases are in English word order, not ASL, so they are easier for kids to understand and learn.)Phrases three and four are a bit more complicated than the other two.
