Trophies awarded for "Funniest Costume" and "Most Creative Costume" in four age groups: age 3 and under; 4 - 6 years old; 7 - 9 years old; and age 10 and up

Historical Museum Events
Three Historical Museum Buildings open for tours
Civil War Living History, featuring members of the 8th Regiment of Veteran Reserve Corps. Learn about the Corps, and the role of Chicagoland in the war. Costumed reenactors demonstrate 19th century handicrafts, play music and bring period children's games
19th Century blacksmithing demonstration by Justin Stech of the Cracked Anvil
Demonstrations take place periodically throughout the afternoon
