Quote Swap: Be Inspired & Inspiring

"Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it."

? Johann Wolfgang von Goethe Quotes can be motivational, sarcastic, funny, thought-provoking, historical, contemporary, and original. They reflect or inspire moods and sentiments from people of all cultures, ages, and experiences. Plus, they are great conversation starters and reminders of our humanity. Join us and share your favorite quote(s); hear those of your fellow participants; explore hundreds of diverse quotes, and learn a variety of ways that they can be expressed. We will have a lively conversation and you will be able to take home new quotes, new ideas and meet new "quotable" friends! Your instructor is passionate about quotes and has collected and used thousands over the years to enhance writing, speaking, understanding, and connecting in this world. She can't wait to hear yours! What's Your ONE Thing?

Do you remember the character Curly in City Slickers telling Billy Crystal that once you figure out your "one thing" life gets easy? It's true! Join us as we explore this idea as outlined in the best-selling book The ONE Thing. You can use this simple, powerful concept to focus on

what matters most in your personal and work life. The daily barrage of e-mails, texts, tweets, messages, and meetings distract you and stress you out. In this new class you'll learn to: cut through the clutter; achieve better results in less time; build momentum toward your goal; dial down the stress; overcome that overwhelmed feeling; take off your "busy" badge; revive your energy; stay on track; and master what matters to you. If you are ready to have extraordinary results in every area of your life--work, personal, family and spiritual--then you need to take this class! Discover how knowing your personal style and which colors work best for you makes both shopping and getting ready in the morning a pleasure instead of a chore! You'll walk away with everything you need to know about what looks best on you, and the next time you hit those sales racks you'll love what you have in your bag when you walk out of the store! Discover Dylan & More: Music, the Arts & Social Change

When we think of social change certain people and their music come to mind. This new class will examine the contributions that music has made to social change. We'll look critically at lyrics as a way of gaining a deeper understanding of the artist's intent. Plus, we'll further examine how these intents became a reality as artists performed and recorded their works. Finally, we will discuss the impact the artists' music had on society. From Dylan to Hendrix, NWA to Biggie Smalls and Billie Holiday--these artists changed our world. In the end, through open discussion, you will gain a more in-depth understanding of arts and social change. Mondays ? 4/10/17-4/24/17 ? 6-8:30 pm
