INTERNSHIP FOR

FUSION 360 MARKETING AGENCY

by

Kara Bendt

Art Challis, Capstone Internship Supervisor

Abstract

From August 20, 2012 to November 30, 2012, I worked as an intern for Utahs strategic

brand marketing company Fusion 360 Marketing in Salt Lake City, Utah. This internship began

in the content department which deals with producing client content for digital marketing

purposes. My specific duties within this department were to research and collect client

information while producing content for social media and SEO marketing strategies. The second

half of the internship was completed in a trial management position as a Brand Strategist, in

which specific duties required brand development, producing marketing campaigns, and client

account management. The principle objective of the internship was to fulfill a requirement for a

Masters Degree in Professional Communication at Southern Utah University. This portfolio

gives an account of my experience working at the agency, the outcome of the internship, and

what it means academically and professionally for my future within the field.
