Q.) How a member can reconcile the deal done on FX-CLEAR?
The reconciliation of the Deals done on FX-CLEAR can be done by verifying the Transaction Reference Number column in the Deal Status Report made available from the Forex Clearing and Settlement System. The Transaction Reference column will contain the Trade Number assigned in Order Matching mode of FX-CLEAR suffixed with ‘F’. In case of Negotiation Mode, it will contain the Deal Number of the Negotiation Mode with suffix of ‘F’ or ‘S’ (e.g. YYYYMMDD5000005F). ‘F’ stands for First Leg of a deal & ‘S’ stands Second Leg of a deal.
For all deals, except SWAP, the Transaction Reference Number for Negotiation Mode deals will be shown with a suffix of ‘F’. For SWAP deals, the Deal Number will be suffixed by either ‘F’ or ‘S’. e.g.
