Welcome back Mission Team!

We want to say a special "welcome home" to everyone who was a part of our Dallas mission trip! We are glad to have you back & can't wait to hear about everything that happened this past week in Dallas!

Co-Ed Summer Softball League

It's time for some church league softball! Our co-ed softball team is looking for anyone interested in playing this year. If you would like to sign-up or need more info, there will be a brief meeting inside the Worship Center today following the regular worship service.

First Second Wednesday - This Wednesday @ 6pm

Due to last week's mission trip, First Wednesday will be this Wednesday @ 6pm. Make sure to join us that night for food, fellowship & testimonies from our Dallas Mission Trip! Be sure to bring your favorite dish, enough to feed your family & others!

`Backstage with the Bible' VBS - June 15-18 @ 6-8:30pm each night

This year's VBS is just a little over a week away & pre-registration for children is now open! There are two ways you can register. Inside today's InfoGuide is a registration form you can fill out and turn in at the Welcome Center OR you may register online at . VBS is open for all children Pre-K through 5th Grade.

VBS Donations Needed

Donations for VBS are needed for the following items: washable markers, pencils, chenille stems, Goldfish crackers, plastic Easter eggs and anything that could be used as a musical instrument. For example: muffin tins, aluminum pie pans, coffee cans, old trash can lids, etc.

Our summer event t-shirts have arrived and are available for purchase or pick-up (pre-orders only). This shirt will be our t-shirt for all summer events including VBS, camps, and Freedom Celebration! The s hirts are $5 for children & $10 for adults. See the table in the Gathering Area.

Summer Ladies Bible Studies - New Schedule for the Summer

This summer, our ladies Wednesday night Bible study will be taking a break until August due to all the summer activities. HOWEVER, the Monday morning class remains in full swing! The Monday morning Bible study will be starting the new series, "Names of God" by Kasey Van Norman tomorrow @ 9:30am in Trailer 200. Also stay tuned in for a new Summer Home Series! If you would like to host a home Bible study, contact Karen Fortner @ 256.312.1999.

Dreamers Bus Trip to Helen, GA - June 22-24

Our senior adult ministry will be heading on a bus trip to the north Georgia mountains in Helen, GA on Monday, June 22 through Wednesday, June 24. They will be spending two nights at the Hampton Inn in Helen (phone # 1-706-878-3310). Each person needs to make their own reservation by June 14th. The reservations are held under "Dreamers North Glencoe Baptist Church/Frances Pearson." Cost for a room with 2 beds for both nights (including tax) is $238.17. If you have purchased a "Summer at North Glencoe" t-shirt, please bring it with you on the trip!

An ALL NEW Freedom Celebration is coming! - Sunday, June 28 @ 10am

We're shaking things up for our annual Freedom Celebration coming up Sunday, June 28th! This year we will have an outdoor church-wide family worship service at 10am, then an afternoon of food & fun, all outside in our beautiful park grounds! There will be games & fun for all ages, a BBQ & bake-off contest, free food and more! The church will provide hot dogs & hamburgers and we need everyone to bring their favorite picnic type covered dishes & desserts! We will also be taking up drink donations starting today in the Gathering Area near the Welcome Center. More details are coming next week!
