*Come out tonight and support FP Basketball. Fort Payne vs Albertville at home. $1.00 for FP Students to get into the game.

*Anyone interested in being a Diamond Doll must see Mrs. Varnadore this week to sign up. There will be a meeting 4th block on Friday in room 105, but you must see her before then to get necessary paperwork.

*Prom committee meeting Friday during 4th block.

*All Seniors that have turned in Senior video pictures come by Mrs. Barnes' room to pick them up. If you have not turned yours in yet you officially have two weeks from today to get them in or they will not be included.

*Tar Wars forms will be passed out today during 4th block. Please give these forms to your parents. Students will take the Tar Wars Survey during 4th block on Thursday, Jan. 25th. It will be a very quick, simple survey in a Google form.

*FASFA Sign up sheet ? This meeting is for students and/or parents of 2018 seniors that are needing FASFA paperwork for 2018-2019 college year. Please sign-up with Mrs. Vezertzis in the office.

*Jacksonville State University Scholarship deadline is February 1st. Gadsden State Community College scholarship deadline is March 1. Snead State Community College scholarship deadline is March 1st. The University of Montevallo Scholarship deadline is February 1st. Wallace State Community College scholarship deadline is February 15th. Alabama Conservation District Scholarship application is available in the guidance office. Information on filing the FAFSA for financial aid is on the front counter in the office. There is a sign-up sheet for appointments here at the high school or you can go to Northeast any Wednesday at 1:00 for assistance. See a counselor if you have questions.

*The Football banquet will be Saturday, Jan. 27th at 6:00pm in the First Methodist Christian Life Center. Tickets for parents, dates and guests will be on sale Jan. 22-26th in the library. Please see Kelly Ellis to purchase tickets. The Price is $10 per ticket. Football players and cheerleaders do not purchase a ticket for themselves.

*Students, it is your responsibility to fully charge your Chromebook each night before school.

*Students, please check your email at least once daily. In addition to your word of the day, you will now also have a Brain Teaser puzzle each day.

*Students, if you will be missing your 4th block class for any reason, please let your teacher know where you are.

*Seniors, You have a graduation fee that includes your cap and gown. It also pays for programs, flowers, diplomas, and other graduation supplies and materials. The graduation fee is: $75 if you are ordering a cap and gown . $60 if you already have a cap and gown worn within the last 5 years by a sibling (You need to make sure that it fits ? including the proper length). You will receive a new tassel. You may pay your graduation fee (cash or check) to your homeroom teacher (4th block) and you will be given a receipt. Please see Mrs. Matthews if you have any questions.

* Yearbooks are on Sale: 2017-2018 Yearbooks are on sale. The cost is $75. No extra books will be ordered. If you do not pre-order a yearbook you will not be able to buy one at a later date. Payment Options: If you would like to pay for your yearbook via credit card please use the following link and instructions: Please go to enter our school name, verify the city and state, and click on "Yearbook" to place your online order. If you prefer to pay via check, please make all checks payable to FPHS yearbook and bring to Mrs. Freeman in room 302. (Books must be paid in full by March 22nd).
