Dear Scholarship Applicant:

Thank you for taking the time to apply for the Terry Wisdom Memorial

Scholarship offered through the Galena Park ISD Education Foundation. Two

$500 scholarships will be awarded. This scholarship was created by his family to

honor the memory of Terry Wisdom, a long-time resident of this community and a

1966 graduate of Galena Park High School who played both baseball and football.

The following are the requirements for the scholarship:

? Must be a student at Galena Park High School

? Must be scheduled to graduate in Spring 2020

? Must have played varsity baseball and/or varsity football at Galena Park High

School

? Submit an essay about your experience as an athlete at Galena Park High

School

? Attach a letter of recommendation from a teacher

? Attach copy of your transcript ¨C NO double-sided copies

? No staples ~ use paper clips
