BEES ATHLETIC BOOSTER MEETINGAUGUST 10, 2020Attendees:see separate sign in sheetPresident:Brian Kirin called the meeting to order at 7:00p.m. Athletic Director: Mark Maslona- Mark said things are changing quickly regarding rules for fall sports. He’s been trying to keep coaches updated on OHSAA plans. OHSAA has divided sports into non-contact and contact. As of today we are unsure how many fans will be allowed in. It could be a little tricky limiting fans. There will only be online ticket sales and limits will be set for attendance. Meet the Bees will be online and more information will be coming on that. Concessions will be prepackaged food only. It’s tough with all the changes but our main focus is to keep the kids healthy and safe physically and emotionally.Mark continues watching for updates from the Department of Health, School Districts and leagues. There are 31 districts in Cuyahoga County and all but 16 shut down their sports but this could quickly change. We will have plexiglass in concessions with mark’s on the ground where to stand, x’s on seats. No standing around, everyone will have to have a seat. Pay to play amounts will be coming out soon.No family passes will be sold for the fall. Mark isn’t sure yet if there will be tickets for parents at away games.Soccer, Volleyball and football games will be live streamed. More info will be coming. It will be something simple – camera on the field, no announcers. For volleyball, teams will warmup in the auxiliary gym. Both sides of bleachers will be used. Team pictures will be made up of the individual pictures. We will have senior banners and they will be done in house so they’ll be less expensive.Golf has already started. The first soccer game is 8/21 against Mayfield and the rest of the schedules are up on the website. There was renovation work done on the stands in the stadium this summer.Membership: Leah Corbo – We will not be doing memberships this year but will ask for donations.
